Start where you are. Private sessions allow customization of practice based on your interests and needs. Continuing long term can keep your practice regular and fresh, help you manage a chronic condition or difficult situation, or give you time to process psycho-spiritual issues in an embodied way.
What does this look like? A session might include:
Discussing your relationship to your body, heart, and mind, and how you get stuck
Trying methods: Mindfulness meditation, yin or yang yoga, breathwork
Customizing sequences for self-led practice between sessions
Establishing a regular practice that is realistic as well as rewarding
Experienced practitioners and yoga teachers may be interested in support for ongoing practice that intertwines with and supports life as it shifts and changes--through transitions such as healing, professional redirection, divorce, loss, end of life, and more. While this is not necessarily distinct from what may evolve in private yoga sessions, more detail is available about coaching/mentoring.
Hour-long session on a sliding scale: $75-$125/hour. Five- and ten-session package discounts available. Payment may be made by Venmo or PayPal.
