Mindfulness Courses
Mindfulness and studies confirming its benefits are everywhere these days. But making it a foundation for good living requires an understanding of the practice - its origins, purpose, and methods.

Sarah Jane support students in establishing a practice that is steady and ongoing, which can transform your way of being, and serve as a foundation for doing good and necessary work in the world.

Note: In addition to working 1:1 with people, in fall 2020 she will be making several new live and pre-recorded classes and courses available as part of an excellent online teaching collective. Stay tuned!

The Four Foundations of Mindfulness for Yoga Teachers

This systematic introduction to the Buddhist underpinnings of mindfulness is for yoga asana teachers who would like to bring mindfulness into their teaching appropriately, with confidence, and with understanding of its original lineage. In addition to didactic teaching, guided meditation, and Q&A, each class will include a yoga/mindfulness practice to demonstrate techniques for layering body-based and mindfulness methods. The first session includes an overview of the intersections of yoga and Buddhism.

Offered in partnership with the Boston Center for Contemplative Practice.
