Why Work 1:1? Whether you are a busy professional, family caretaker, or a yoga teacher seeking mentorship, working 1:1 can open up new pathways to healing and growth. Working 1:1 may be of interest if you are:

Interested in body-based processing of psychological material to complement therapy
Seeking mentorsupport in making yoga and/or meditation part of your life's path
Frequency varies. A common cadence is once or twice weekly, while some prefer every other week, or to check in monthly or quarterly. Sarah Jane also works with students requiring 50 hours of mentoring as part of the Insight Yoga Institute's 500-hour training.
What's a Session Like? Sarah Jane does not offer a standard practice prescription. By listening to your life circumstances and practice goals, and following cues from your body and nervous system, she customizes sessions to offer support from the traditions in which she has trained and continues to study. Depending on your interests, sessions may include:
Choosing methods and setting an intention for the session
Mindfulnessmeditation for insight into inner change
Pranayama, yin or yang yoga asana, or mindful movement
Tuning into inner needs with internal family systems view
Metta, compassion, empathetic joy, and equanimity meditations
Self-compassion and gratitude meditations as self-care
Developing a self-led practice routine that fits and supports your lifestyle
Discussion of books and other resources to support your path

60-minute yoga/mindfulness session: $120
Teacher/practitioner mentoring: $80-$120 (donation of your choice)
