A certified mindfulness teacher, Sarah Jane opens and closes classes with meditation. She teaches yin yoga as a method of embodied mindfulness and encourages participants of all levels to bring curiosity and self-kindness to the many moments spent in the various postures. Each 90-minute session is designed to nourish the body, heal the heart, and train the mind, contributing to ease and resilience in life. Class themes include rest and resilience, key insights of mindfulness, finding ease with uncertainty, meeting suffering with compassion, and cultivating equanimity for engaging in this very life. Insight Yoga for Inner Brightness
Four Thursdays in December 2021, 6-7:30pm EST (U.S.) Drop in to single classes or purchase series: 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 12/23 This December, gather for practice sessions that integrate somatic, energetic, and contemplative methods to illuminate the inner life. Specifically, Sarah Jane guides a slow sequence of yin yoga postures, weaving in pranayama, Buddhist foundations of mindfulness, heart-based meditations, and contemplations. The result is a deeply restorative practice that supports inner brightness as we navigate seasonal change and the stress of modern life.
